Spring is right around the corner and time to do some spring
cleaning.
I could probably fill several trash bags in our attic alone.
But, there are things in the attic that somehow we just can't seem to
part with. Is sin like that? We don't even realize that it's hindering
our lives so we fail to get rid of it.
Perhaps this spring I
need to concentrate more on cleaning out the attic of my heart ; getting
rid of any unforgiveness, greed or malice, than concentrating on things
in our home that are seen.
"Stop being mean, bad-tempered, and
angry. Quarreling, harsh words, and dislike of others should have no
place in your lives. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you because you belong
to Christ." Ephesians 4:31-32 Living Bible
