Malachi's birthday-2016

He was the cutest little fellow with big bright eyes and a dimply smile. Sundays found him running around the Worship Center after services, up and down the long flight of stairs as fast as he could go. Usually, there were a couple or three little girls his age giving chase. What a great time they had that year down in the lower level of the church while the congregation was upstairs worshiping. They were listening to bible stories, singing little children's songs, looking at picture books, playing with the little play kitchen and other toys that were there. Meanwhile, a little baby girl sat on the teacher's lap, intrigued with the bigger kids play.

I see the Christmas play the little ones put on at Thorncrown. I hear them singing their sweet Christmas songs and I see that little fellow running back up the aisle at the end of the play; tripping on his shepherd's robe and falling flat on his face in the aisle only to jump up and continue running.
That little boy is now a grown man married to our granddaughter, Christen, who was that little baby girl that sat on the teachers lap while he and the others played all around her.

Who knew what was in God's plan when He first brought them together almost 24 years ago?

Happy 27th birthday, Malachi Million ! We are so glad God brought you into our family ! We can't wait to see what the next years hold for you and Christen.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
