When Jesus was on earth in human form, He was with those who could see Him just as you and I see each other. Imagine their disappointment when He told them He was leaving . However, when He left, He sent something even better in His place........the Holy Spirit, who would reside with them always no matter where they were. They could not touch the Spirit like they touched Jesus. But, they could feel His presence through the Holy Spirit.
So, when we are grieved because of a loss, we need to be reminded that God, in His infinite wisdom, knows who and what is best for us and He will supply that need in His own time.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
