Just Pray...........

It's pretty easy to pray for the ones we love, isn't it? I find it difficult to pray for the people who aren't exactly my friends. I hear the news about all of the terrorist activities all over the world and it grieves me. It's pretty difficult for me to realize that God loves those terrorists just as much as he loves me.

 Oh, he doesn't like the things they are doing but they are His creation just the same as the rest of us.

When we listen to all of the political bickering on TV, it's pretty difficult to realize they each have a soul just as you and I. Shouldn't we pray that they come to know our Lord if they don't know Him? Shouldn't we pray for those we don't like in this political battle just the same as we pray for those we do like?

"The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation.
